Stargazing at Spring Hill
Join Spring Hill educators for a night under the stars! Stargazing at Spring Hill combines the exploration of both nature and history, as Spring Hill’s educators help visitors learn how to identify constellations (integrating the mobile app Star Walk 2) and discuss how runaway slaves used the sky to navigate northward to freedom along the Underground Railroad.
BYO lawn chair or blanket for seating. Two telescopes will be available to help visitors view constellations.
In the case of dense clouds or rain, the event will be cancelled/postponed. Please tune into our Facebook page for program updates.
