For those interested in field trips, we are happy to plan a home school or public school visit for your group. Please visit our field trip page for more information.
Please note that we are not open on Sundays and are unable to accommodate same-day tour requests.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students aged 7-17, and free for children 6 and under.
Off-season tours:
Tours are available year-round by reservation for groups of two or more by contacting us at info@springhillhistorichome.org or (330) 833-6749. You can also use the button below to fill out a request form.
In-season tours:
Our Summer Saturday walk-in tour season runs each June through Labor Day weekend. Tours begin on the hour at 1 & 2 pm. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after a tour leaves, you may be asked to join the next tour.
While reservations are not necessary on these weekends, they do help us know how many visitors to anticipate. Please note, tours are capped at 15 people per time slot, so if you would like to ensure that you will make it for a tour at your preferred time, please reserve tickets before your visit.
Know before you go:
Tours are a guided experience and last around 45 minutes. Our historic farmhouse is not mobility/ADA accessible: There are steps at all entrances to the house. The house also has three floors and some locations have narrow passages. Those with accessibility restrictions can request a packet with information regarding the basement and second-floor. While there are not many opportunities to sit during the tour, we can provide limited seating spaces for guests.
Guidelines:
• Photography is permitted during tours, but please refrain from using flash as it damages the artifacts.
• Please do not touch, sit, or lean on any artifacts. While they look sturdy, many of them are fragile.
• Please do not bring any food or drinks into the museum, as they can attract pests. There are several trash cans around the property to dispose of these items before starting a tour. On hot days, water is permitted.
Additional Information:

Individuals who provide their SNAP/EBT card receive free admission for themselves and 3 family members through the Museums for All program.

Active Duty military personnel and their family members receive free admission June through Labor Day with the Blue Star Museums program.
