19th Annual Underground Railroad Experience
An inspiring story of freedom seekers and the abolitionists who aided them

Take an inspiring trip back in time to the year 1821, as you travel in this walking drama with historic characters who welcome you as a freedom seeker. Learn about escaping the realities of slavery and Spring Hill Farm’s role in the Underground Railroad.
2024 Showtimes:
10:00a – 11:15a – 12:45p (seated) – 2:00p – 3:15p
Performances are immersive and involve traveling across Spring Hill grounds for about 40 minutes.
Anyone with mobility challenges should consider tickets for the seated performance.
Open-house style tours of the 1821 farmhouse available 10:00a – 12:30p & 1:30p – 5:00p
Closed 12:30p – 1:30p for the seated porch performance
Members of the Canton Folk Song Society to perform at the Granary Barn.
Other snacks & refreshments available throughout the day from Spring Hill.

Adults $15 – Students (7-17 + college) $10 – Children (6 and under) Free

*This is a rain or shine event. In the case of thunderstorms, performances could be delayed. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis up until two (2) days prior to the event (June 13) and a 20% fee will be taken out of the refund if tickets were purchased online due to fees incurred by our non-profit organization from EventBrite. Please call the office at (330) 833-6749. ONLY IF there is a waitlist for tickets and it is before 2 days prior to the event or earlier will refund requests be granted for scheduling conflicts or weather (heat/rain). No refunds will be processed the day of the event. You must sell or transfer your own ticket.
